TwiPhone Pilot v1.2.3 adds support for Transcriptions!

Okay – that was fast, even by my standards! The new version of TwiPhone Pilot is released! It fixes the aforementioned problem on iOS 16.4.1 with phone numbers not being validated properly AND adds …. da-da-Da-dah … Transcriptions! If you have Transcriptions enabled on your Twilio voicemail application, they will now be shown in TwiPhone Pilot. If you don’t, it’s a good time to consider it – transcriptions are a little more expensive than voice recordings (weighing in at $0.05 per minute) but they sure are useful for getting the gist of a voicemail without actually having to listen to it. If you use TwiPhone Home or TwiPhone Work as your Voicemail app, enabling Transcriptions is as simple as changing the TRANSCRIBE_RECORDINGS environment variable to “true” and redeploying. If you use some other solution for your Voicemail, see the settings there or consult your app developer to add Transcriptions to your Voicemail. We love to see what you think – leave feedback here or in a review of the TwiPhone Pilot App.
